The Muddy Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) Expansion is a major infrastructure initiative led by the North Texas Municipal Water District (NTMWD) to address growing wastewater treatment demands in the Wylie and Murphy areas. The project aims to increase the plant’s capacity from its current limits to 12.5 million gallons per day (MGD), ensuring long-term reliability and regulatory compliance.
